Electromagnetic form factors of baryons and the Poincaré covariance Original Research Article

Preliminary results for the proton and neutron electromagnetic form factors, calculated within a front-form constituent quark model, are presented. A Poincaré covariant electromagnetic current operator for systems of interacting particles has been used and an effective quark mass at the photon-quark vertex has been introduced for a first insight of many body effects in the electromagnetic current.
