A novel approach to determine oxidation kinetics of Mo–16Cr–xSi(x = 4–6 wt.%) alloy using stepwise isothermal thermo-gravimetry

dYdt=nk(T)Y(1−Y)1−YY1/nFurther, the method was extended for evaluating the oxidation kinetics parameters for Mo–16Cr–(4–6 wt.%)Si alloys. Effects of concentration of Si on the oxidation behaviors of the alloys were also studied.
