Solubility in binary solvent mixtures: Pyrene dissolved in alcohol + toluene mixtures

The solubilities of pyrene in mixed solvents (methanol + toluene, ethanol + toluene and 2-propanol + toluene) were determined at temperatures between 283 K and 333 K by a gravimetric method. The experimental data were correlated with the Apelblat model. The calculated values of Apelblat model were found to show a fine representation of the experimental data.
