Compilation of cross sections for proton–nucleus interactions at the HERA energy Original Research Article

This work compiles information concerning the total, inelastic and diffractive cross sections for proton–nucleus interactions. The values are fitted together with the expression σ=σ0Aα, where A is the target atomic mass number. Also discussed is the amplitude of the diffractive components of the inelastic cross section.
