Abstract :
The hybrid version of the “tilted axis cranking” model is used to establish the magnetic rotation phenomenon in the negative parity ΔI=1 bands based on oblate shapes in odd-A79,81,83Kr isotopes. Our calculations point out that 83Kr is the best candidate of magnetic rotation among the three, and is probably a good example of magnetic rotation band based on a shape mixing configuration. The shape mixing in 83Kr appears to help in understanding the full characteristics of the negative parity ΔI=1 band.
