How does the break-up of weakly bound nuclei influence the fusion cross section? Original Research Article

We analyze a comprehensive set of fusion cross section data induced by stable weakly bound nuclei on a wide mass range of targets, and give a simple and overall picture of the influence of the break-up process on the fusion cross section, at energies above the Coulomb barrier.
