Convergence of the hyperspherical harmonic expansion for four body scattering problems Original Research Article

A preliminary study of a four-nucleon scattering problem by using the hyperspherical harmonic technique is reported. The convergence of different classes of hyperspherical harmonic components is carefully analyzed. In such a way, restricted basis can be chosen which allows for accurate estimates of the phase shifts.
