Abstract :
Angular distributions for both d(7Be,8B)n transfer reaction and d(7Be,8Be)d elastic scattering have been measured at the same beam energy for extracting the astrophysical S – factor [S17(0)] for the 7Be(p,γ)8B reaction using ANC method. We report S17(0)-factor to be 21.0±0.9 (ANC)± 1.4 (stat) eV b.
