Abstract :
We report on searches for the pentaquark candidates Θ+(1540) and Φ(1860) in Σ−- nucleus collisions at 340 GeV/c (WA89) and in quasi-real photo-production in μ-6LiD collisions at 160 GeV/c (COMPASS). No evidence for these candidates was found.
In Σ−-nucleus collisions, the production cross section integrated over the range 0.15
