Abstract :
Spin-polarizabilities are predicted by calculating the cross-section difference image from available data for the resonance couplings image and image and CGLN amplitudes. The forward spin-polarizabilities are predicted to be image and image in units of image where the different signs are found to be due to the isospin dependencies of the image and the image amplitudes. The backward spin-polarizabilities are predicted to be image and image, to be compared with the experimental values image and image. Electric image and magnetic image spin-polarizabilities are introduced and discussed in terms of the E1 and image components of the photo-absorption cross section of the nucleon.
