Abstract :
A large body of data for intermediate energy inclusive hadron scattering from complex nuclei is organized by way of the Bjorken scaling variable for values of xB greater than one. Beam energies considered range from 392 MeV to 24 GeV. Remarkably, all of these data for nuclei with saturated densities are found to lie along a common response curve, over at least some kinematic range. Deviations from this common response can be understood in most cases. Examples of very light nuclei show differences from the responses of the heavier samples in the same manner as noted for electron scattering.
