Abstract :
Self-consistent calculations of single View the MathML source-nuclear states and multi View the MathML source-nuclear states are briefly reviewed. Dynamical effects for View the MathML source deeply bound nuclear states are studied within the relativistic mean-field (RMF) approach. By varying the strength of View the MathML source-nucleus interaction, we cover a wide range of binding energies View the MathML source. Our calculations provide a lower limit View the MathML source on the widths of View the MathML source nuclear bound states for binding energy in the range View the MathML source. Substantial polarization is found in light nuclei for deeply bound View the MathML source nuclear states, with central nuclear densities about twice higher than for the corresponding nuclei without View the MathML source. Multi-View the MathML source nuclear calculations indicate that the binding energy per View the MathML source meson saturates upon increasing the number of View the MathML source mesons embedded in the nuclear medium. The nuclear and View the MathML source densities increase only moderately and are close to saturation, with no indication of any kaon-condensation precursor phenomena.
