Abstract :
A robust synthesis approach of active controller for thin plate systems with parameter uncertainties is developed in this paper. Based on the active vibration control design, the variable parameter feedback control is adopted for controller synthesis, and the robustness of the controller can be improved greatly by introducing an adjustable parameter r in the control law. The interval of r is derived using δ-stability analysis and robust eigenvalue assignment. An example that illustrates the synthesis of a robust active controller for a four-edge clamped thin plate is presented.
