Synthèse dʹune nouvelle résine époxyde à base du 2,2′-dihydroxydiphényle

Résumé Nous avons préparé une nouvelle résine époxyde à partir du 2,2′-dihydroxydiphényle 1, selon deux voies différentes. La première consiste en un couplage du composé 1 avec l′épichlorhydrine 2 en présence de soude. La résine diglycidyléther du 2,2′-dihydroxydiphényle 3, est obtenue avec un rendement de 92%. La deuxième voie, plus longue, comporte deux étapes: réaction du composé 1 avec le bromure dʹallyle 4 puis époxydation. Le rendement global de la synthèse est de 87%. La résine époxyde obtenue est ensuite réticulée thermiquement, sans problème, avec des durcisseurs de type amines. Les produits obtenus sont stables thermiquement. Abstract The synthesis of a new epoxy resin has been performed by two methods starting from 2,2′-dihydroxydiphenyle 1. The first method implied the reaction between dihydroxy 1 and epichlorohydrin 2 to give the product with 92% average. While the second method was performed in two steps: reaction between 1 and allyl bromide, followed by epoxidation with metachloroperbenzoic acid. The average of this reaction is 87%. The epoxy resin was crosslinked without any problem by a thermic hardness with amines and the products have good thermal stability.
