The branched - chain explosion time and slow temperature rise for homogeneous reactive system

This paper describes an investigation of the explosion time for an extended model involving a four stem mechanism. Significant deviations from past results were obtained leading to the fresh determination of criticality of a certain parameter δ and explosion times for which the results of calculations agree well with those obtained previously. The boundary between the explosion and slow temperature region is found.
