Abstract :
A series of anatase-supported NiO and/or WO3 samples are prepared by impregnation and characterized by various experimental methods. The results reveal that for the anatase-supported single oxide samples, nickel oxide and tungsten oxide can be highly dispersed on the surface of the support with a dispersion capacity of 6.65 and 4.85 cations/nm2 of anatase, respectively; the experimental data are consistent with the incorporation model proposed earlier by the authors. For the supported binary oxide samples, i.e., NiO/WO3–TiO2, WO3/NiO–TiO2, and NiO–WO3/TiO2 samples, XRD, TPR, Raman, and UV-DRS results have suggested that the dispersion state of oxides is strongly related to the loading sequence of the individual metal oxides.
