Abstract :
Spheroidal carbon structures, formed during the pyrolysis of benzene, are deposited selectively in the more low-temperature zone of the reactor. It is suggested that the spheroidal and tubular carbon structures are formed as a result of condensation of the molecules of benzene and its homologs. The curvature of the obtained structure appears at the moment of interaction between molecules in one of which the atoms are not coplanar as a result of the presence of carbon with sp3 hybridization.
