Abstract :
The calculated (models of the ideal layered perovskite-like structures (LPS)) and experimental values of the unit cell parameters of compounds of the AnBnO3n+2 type were analyzed. The interconnection between the peculiarities of the distortion of the LPS in these compounds, the number of layers of BO6 octahedra in the perovskite-like blocks, and the limits of the morphotropic transitions were established.
