Abstract :
One of possible ways of increasing service life is hardfacing. Hardfacing should be developed with different electrodes using
required welding parameters in minimal and maximal limits. Welding parameters influence geometry of the weld bead, dilution,
and mechanical properties of the reinforcement overlay. This article is focused on optimizing the welding parameters
with the aim to provide longer service life. Service life is represented by weight loss and reinforcement of the hardfacing. The
results show that the procedure using factorial experimental design and regression analysis for the mathematical development
can be used for optimizing determination.
