Abstract
Cobalt(II), nickel(II), and copper(II) stearates, their complexes with octadecylamine, and carbon nanotubes were used as coatings on chemical piezoquartz sensors for hydrocarbon vapors. The rapid and reliable identification of hydrocarbons and other volatile compounds is possible by combining an electric nose flow cell with eight piezoquartz sensors and an LKhM-80 gas chromatograph equipped with a short column (nose–chrom device).
