Integration of software tools in patent analysis Original Research Article

Modern patent information analysis requires, in addition to profound domain knowledge, sophisticated and specialized computer software tools. Integration of such resources can be a challenging task. In this paper we discuss advantages and pitfalls of combining multiple software resources in a large patent landscaping project, using a custom-configured patent software integration tool.
