Abstract
The InfoliTrans Test is a portal designed to analyze, explore, and improve information competence among students of higher education, using the field of Translation and Interpretation for this pilot project. The methodology, based on the best international practices and experiences, and its specifications are detailed. From a practical standpoint, the interactive tool enables the user not only to measure his or her different information capacities and aptitudes but also to diagnose and resolve problems detected in the development of the studentʹs informational training. This is an instrument for analysis and evaluation but also for resolving problems related to the search, treatment, assessment, and dissemination of information, and therefore it constitutes a tool for training in information skills.
