Photocatalytic properties of CaBiVMO8 (where M = W and Mo) compounds

New photocatalyts based on CaBiVMO8 (where M = W and Mo) oxides were prepared by a solid-state method. The obtained CaBiVMO8 powders were characterized by the XRD, UV–vis absorption spectra and BET method. The prepared CaBiVMO8 materials show high photocatalytic activities for O2 evolution and for organic compounds degradation.
