A Study on the Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning in Iranian Airports Holding Company

This study is a descriptive research on the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and the possibility of implementing it in Iranian Airports Holding Company (IAC). The study was conducted to achieve three major objectives: (a) to identify the concepts, elements, and relationships between elements in ERP; (b) to examine the objectives, the process map, and resources of IAC, as well as the possibility of implementing ERP in that company; and, (c) to determine the procedures for implementing ERP in the company. The study found that the implementation of ERP in IAC was possible considering some significant features of the company. However, ERP must be designed and implemented very sensitively.
