Cathodoluminescence spectra of GaN powders deposited on glass substrate

The cathodoluminescence spectra of annealed GaN powders, which were fabricated using a nitridation technique, deposited on a glass substrate, were investigated. It was found that annealing is effective for increasing the emission intensity and the UV emission of GaN powder. Electroluminescent devices were fabricated using the annealed GaN powder and UV light emission was observed from them.
