Organic polycrystals as the new luminescent systems for scintillation and ecology techniques

A new type of organic luminescent material, namely, organic scintillation polycrystals is proposed. We have obtained p-terphenyl and stilbene polycrystals by the pressing technique of our design. The analysis of the dependence between structural features of organic polycrystals and their radioluminescence pulse characteristics is based on the results of spectra and pulse shape measurements.
