Abstract :
We discuss the phenomenon of electronic energy transfer via electromagnetic field in a microcavity, and the correspondence between its quantum-mechanical and semiclassical descriptions, focusing on the case when a sharp cavity mode is present, resonant with both donor and acceptor.
