Abstract :
The simulated dependences of main characteristics of thermoluminescent (TL) peaks on the initial concentration of luminescence centers and on the ratio between the retrapping and recombination coefficients in oxygen-deficient α-Al2O3 crystals were analyzed. The probable origins of known scatter in experimental magnitudes for parameters of TL peaks are discussed. The obtained values of the model factors were compared with relevant data reported by other researchers.
