Abstract
We examine the population of cavity polaritons at non-resonant pumping. In our model the energy relaxes by means of emission of large-energy vibrational quanta into low-energy polaritonic states, which eventually escape the cavity through the mirrors. We discuss the ways to achieve large polariton population in the low-energy states.
