Abstract :
The absorption of the BO3 groups ransed from 120 to 170 nm. Main peak of the host absorption moves about 30 nm to high-energy region as Sr2+ replaces Ba2+ partially. The charge transfer band of Eu3+ can be enhanced by codoping Al3+ ion into the LnZr(BO3)2 lattices. The PL spectra show an intense and sharp red emission (616 nm) from Eu3+ (5D0→7F2) and sharp green (546 nm) from Tb3+ (5D4→7F5) transition under 147 nm excitation.
