Ignition tests with brush discharges

To study the ignition behaviour of brush discharges a new experimental approach was chosen. With this procedure it is possible to investigate in a reliable way whether pure dusts may be ignited with real brush discharges or not. So far no ignition was observed. The investigations continue with other dusts and the most recent results will be reported.
