Non-conventional application of unwoven fabrics

Piezoelectric properties of multilayer structures composed of polypropylene electret foils and polypropylene electret unwoven fabric are described in the paper. The influence of storage time and external stress on the piezoelectric coefficient value (d33), as well as sensitivity in a range of low frequencies of the structures prepared from different types of unwoven layers, are provided.
