Abstract :
In this paper, a new method of dynamic weighing of livestock based on a fuzzy-logic approach is presented. In order to test a proposed method, the automated weight measurement scale was developed. The weight estimation algorithm—implemented in Matlab—was evaluated for large number of scenarios. Also, the problem of crowding on the measuring device was analysed and simple yet effective solution is presented. The method was tested using people instead cattle.
