Abstract :
In its general sense, higher education quality is as old an issue as the higher education itself since, according to its nature, higher education is a quality and complicated activity. Increasing demands for higher education and its dramatic expansion along with limited public resources have made quality as one of the challenges of higher education. Scholars of educational sciences emphasize the determining role of educational technology in the learning-teaching process. They contend that appropriate utilization of educational technology can significantly contribute to the improved quality of education. The present study aims at evaluating the quality of educational technology curriculum using the nine curricular elements of Frances Klein. The main point, however, is that expert systems and fuzzy rules are used in this study to perform an accurate analysis of the curriculum. By using the fuzzy logic criteria, a fuzzy system is proposed to obtain expert opinions on curricular quality assessment for the two elements of goal and content using MATLAB software.
