Land-based sources of pollution and environmental quality of the Ebrié lagoon waters

A survey of land-based sources of pollution was undertaken in the urban area of the Ebrié lagoon. Activities which may influence the quality of the environment, and the sources, amounts and effects of the pollution of the water body were assessed. Preliminary recommendations on remedial measures to solve the problems as assessed, and proposals for preventive, remedial and/or control measures were made.
