Abstract :
Dr Holt has participated in most annual meetings of the IWC and its Scientific Committee since 1960, representing in that period the Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the Government of the Republic of Seychelles, the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and various other international nongovernmental organizations. He is currently senior scientific consultant to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).
