Dissolved trace elements in south Aegean Seawater

Within the framework of the CEC/MAST-supported Project PELAGOS, analyses of seawater samples for the determination of dissolved trace elements were carried out in the south Aegean Sea (Eastern Mediterranean Basin) during 1994. The study area comprised the Cretan Sea and the Straits (Western and Eastern) of the Cretan Arc. The goal of this study was the better understanding of the exports of water and associated material in the eastern Mediterranean Basin, through trace element determinations.
