Abstract
Novel water-soluble isopeptides of Aβ1–42 mutants, ‘26-O-acyl isoAβ1–42 (26-AIAβ42) mutants’, which were efficiently converted to intact Aβ1–42 mutants with no byproduct formation under physiological conditions, were synthesized. These isopeptides provide a new system useful for investigating the biological function of Aβ1–42 mutants.
