Abstract :
Novel 5-benzyl and 5-benzylidene-thiazolidine-2,4-diones carrying 2,3-dihydrobenzo[1,4]dioxin pharmacophore were synthesized and their glycogen phosphorylase inhibitor activity was also studied.
