Correlation effects on Josephson currents through the one-dimensional Josephson arrays Original Research Article

Interaction effects on supercurrent through Josephson junction arrays are studied. Assuming large gate capacitances, the effective model including nearest-neighbor interaction is derived. We study how the Coulomb interaction and boundary Josephson coupling affect the maximum Josephson current. The tendency of the charge order is also discussed by studying the phase–current relations.
