Abstract :
Using the in-reactor tritium release experiments, the tritium transport behavior in the Li20Sn80 alloy was studied, including the tritium diffusion in the alloy and the mass-transfer at the interface between the alloy and the gas phase. The tritium diffusion coefficient is 1.27×10−9 m2/s at 873 K. The mass-transfer coefficient obeys the following temperature dependence:
