Anticorrosion efficiency of coatings containing metallic pigments Original Research Article

This paper deals with study of anticorrosive coatings containing metallic pigments. Thirty-three epoxy resin-based coatings and 15 silicone resin-based coatings, differing in content and kind of metallic and non-metallic pigments were prepared. The efficiencies of these systems were evaluated on the basis of physical–mechanical properties and corrosion resistances.
