Abstract
Technological aspects of μSRμSR measurements in the wake of unprecedented high flux pulsed muon beam provided by J-PARC MUSE facility is discussed. For the efficient use of high flux beam, two alternative possibilities are presented for the conceptual design of the μSRμSR spectrometer, one based on the time-differential technique and the other that collects time-integral information only. The important role of the latter technique that can be cast into a device with an appearance of commercially available magnetometer (‘μPMSμPMS’) is emphasized for the broader access of μSRμSR technique to the community of condensed matter physics.
