Abstract :
A self-organized film with titania nanotubular architecture was synthesized by anodization. The dynamic characteristics and kinetic parameters of the nanotubular film during annealing were investigated using real-time resolved, in situ X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD results revealed that the onset activation energy for the self-organized titania nanotubular film was 135.6 kJ/mol. The rate constant for aniline blue degradation was dependent on the nanotube length, and the best photocatalytic efficiency of the TiO2 nanotube was obtained at an optimum tube length of 430 nm.
