Abstract :
A sulphur and oxygen alternately bridged polymeric silver (I) complex of S,Sʹ-bis (8-quinolyl)-4-oxa-1,7-dithiaheptane (OETQ), [Ag3(OETQ)(NO3)3]∞, was prepared and its structure was characterized by X-ray crystallography. The 2D brick topological open network of the complex is extended via Ag···O interactions. The NO3− anions interact with Ag atoms in versatile forms to control the crystal packing.
