Abstract :
Self-assembly between cadmium salt and bpb (bpb=1,2-bis[(4-pyrimidnyl)sulfanylmethyl]benzene) bridging ligand in DMF solution resulted in a single stranded one-dimensional coordination polymer [{Cd(bpb)2(NO3)2(dmf)2}(dmf)2]n containing tetragonal boxes with solvent molecule guests.
