Abstract :
A new acrylamide coordination polymer, namely, Zn(L)(tp)·2H2O(1) (L = N1,N4-di(pyridin-4-yl)naphthalene-1,4-dicarboxamide, H2tp = terephthalic acid), was obtained by hydrothermal self-assembly. Topological analysis reveals a common sra-type matrix but shows an uncommon interpenetrating mode of eight-fold interpenetration in the (4 + 4) fashion. Furthermore, fluorescence and thermogravimetry analyses have been investigated in detail.
