Abstract
The asymmetric compartmental proligand HLB bearing a tridentate N2O donor set and a bidentate NO donor set has given the novel trinuclear nickel(II) complex [Ni3(LB)2(OAc)2(NCS)2] in which there are two tridentate acetate bridges each having a μ3,η1,η2-bridging mode.
