Three-dimensional framework containing Mn(salen)+ and Re6Se8(CN)64− cluster

Three-dimensional framework material containing Mn(salen)+ units and cyano–Re6Se8 clusters was prepared, and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallized in the rhombohedral space group R3̄c with a=16.1760(4) Å, c=44.965(1) Å, V=10189.3(4) Å3, and Z=6. In the structure, each anionic cluster, Re6Se8(CN)64− was bridged by six Mn(salen)+ units to form a three-dimensional framework.
