  • Abstract
    Treatment of a MeOH solution of trans-[FeBr2(depe)2] (depe=Et2PCH2CH2PEt2) with HCCC6H10OH or HCC(CH2)nOH (n=1 or 2), in the presence of NaBPh4, forms the cyclic allenylidene trans-[FeBr(CCC6H10)(depe)2][BPh4] or the alkyne trans-[FeBr{η2-HCC(CH2)nOH}(depe)2][BPh4] (n=1 or 2) complexes, respectively.
